I love a child’s life. My childhood was colored with waxy crayons and endless hours watching cartoons and reading fantastical tales. A floor littered with crayons and colored pencils, those crisp black lines and the inviting white spaces of unfilled coloring books, and Aristocats playing on VHS in the background- this comes close to perfection for me, then and now. Richard Scarry, Roald Dahl, and the foxy Robin Hood. Fantasia, Dr. Suess, and Wallace & Gromit. I hope to repay these great masters of whimsy, word, and film in my own small way one day.
